On February 1st, 2014, Ed Cabigao was pushing 220lbs, and his energy was always fleeting. That's the day he decided to eat clean. He slowly started feeling better and better each day, and his energy levels started going up everyday. About a year later, Ed was down to 180lbs, and that's when he started running. He went from running two miles to a half marathon within six months.

Being able to transform himself through living a clean lifestyle really opened his eyes to an opportunity that's lacking in the restaurant industry. There needs to be more places that celebrate people trying to be the best versions of themselves, and more places that show that healthy living can also be fun, delicious, and lighthearted. At Zaka Bowl, that's what we hope to accomplish by helping our active guests feel fit, energized and happy by serving clean food fast.
